Jeremiah Speaks To Us Today: Will You Listen?

Do you practice idolatry today? People certainly did in Jeremiah's day and it clearly displeased the LORD God who spoke words of warning through this "weeping prophet." Jeremiah was a true patriot who loved his nation and people, but they wouldn't listen to him, no matter how much he spoke God's words to them. Much of what the LORD spoke through Jeremiah is applicable to us today. The LORD God made it perfectly clear what angers Him and also what pleases Him. He spoke then, and He speaks now.
