In an age where every aspect of life is relentlessly pursued by culture, our enemy, and our selfish desires, it is easy to pacify-or disengage from-the growing processes we need to go through in order to realize and become our true identity in Christ. Pacification feeds us misconceptions that will make us believe that the flow of society, and the old, mundane routines we've lived in are the ways we ought to live. Pacification will appease us further into culture habits and idiosyncrasies, and define us by our past experiences and hurts; it will make us lose ourselves entirely.
