I ask all who reads this book to please review it thank you. As an only child i used to being with just my mom but when she passes away leaves me the house, when clearing out i found more than i bargained for. Even know it was a sunny day here in Wichita falls and the sun was streaming through the side window but I didn't feel the heat I just felt numb. I looked at my watch and noticed it was only three days since I buried my mom right now I couldn't see the light at the end of the tunnel I could only see the darkness You see I had no other family my dad passed away before I was born so it was only me and mom and now she was gone! I was pulled back to reality when I heard a pounding on the front door Elly Lewis Dawson, I know you're in there now open the door and let me in before I crack out the hider key I unwrapped my arms from around my knees and slowly put my feet to the cold wooden floor I had been in that position since I woke up very early long before the sun came up over the horizon I slowly tested my legs and then once I knew I was OK I headed to the door before my best friend Carrie busted through it. She walked in and shoved a thermos cup in my hand as she walked by me Drink that while I sort these bagels out Have you eaten she shouted as I made my way to the dining room table I was about to shout my answer back at her when she walked in carrying to plates.
