Congregation B'Nai Israel Oral Histories: Sylvania, Ohio

In honor of Congregation B'nai Israel's 150th Anniversary, a group of members volunteered to conduct oral history interviews of current members. Most of the subjects had been lifelong members of the Conservative synagogue in Toledo Ohio. The result is this volume consisting of interviews conducted in 2015 and 2016. These stories give a unique look at Jewish life in a mid-western city in Northwest Ohio from the perspective of forty individuals aged 17 - 97.
