All Bethany wanted, was a new gown for her birthday ball and her brother Daniel insisted upon escorting her to the big city of Wellington. Their trip came to an abrupt stop as Lord Andrews intercepted them, requesting Daniel's immediate assistance. Even so, something about him called to her. Perhaps it was the sadness in his eyes? Whatever it was, when it came time for Daniel to go home, leaving the Doctor and the Colonel behind was harder than she thought and she believed she would never see them again.
