You may think New Orleans is a drug infested run down city that's fill with alcohol, drugs, prostitution, and corrupt police, and for that you wouldn't be wrong for thinking so. But of course it has more to offer in the "Big Easy" than "Bourbon Street and "Drugs." New Orleans has naturally born athletes where some who make it out the hood and some who don't. Cheryl Montana was one who took advice from her brother and grandparents to make it out the hood and becoming a successful attorney. But after losing her mother to murder to a Jamaican mafia family and father to the federal prison system she knew not only to keep her game tight on the basketball court but she had to keep her game tight to survive the streets. After receiving and taking advantage of an athletic scholarship her dreams were only to give back to the community by keeping drug dealers out even if it came at the cost of losing family members. Unfortunately, Cheryl's cousin the one and only Keesha Montana who is New Orleans finest and first female baller to break a middle school national record in scoring did the opposite by choosing the streets over basketball. But when she decides to hook up with her man Frank Scully the son of a notorious drug dealer fame to shame became reality when family history repeats itself.
