Successful Change:: In A World That Is Change

You and I live in a universe that can be best described as change personified. Nothing stands still. Everything changes! Unfortunately most humans resist change for two main reasons: Our genes are still set up to reflect a much more primitive reality, where a tiger could really be looking at us as a possible lunch. Although our present societies do not normally allow that to be a serious threat, your genes change slowly unless you look deeply into your subconscious minds and change your defaults. The second reason for your trying to live in an unchanging state is that you have been taught, by almost all of society, to survive in Fear, so that others can control you. Change is scary if you are still just surviving in the Fear mode. There are ways to change your default ways of reacting to things like the processes of change. You are not usually taught them, although the subset of humans who are presently living in Love, instead of just surviving in Fear, have learned those lessons well enough that they seldom react in the Fear set of thoughts and emotions; at least for more than a few seconds. You too can learn to follow them and your reactions can be slowly changed. This move is slow by our conscious standards but unbelievably quick by genetic standards. When you have completed that process, described in this book, you can choose to change how you live with much greater ease. Our society is set up, from almost all directions, to allow those who lead because they have money, things and power, (yet are still fearful themselves) to control everything and everyone around themselves. Some of our leaders are Not like that, but most of them are. Since societies teach you and me to survive in Fear, instead of living in Love, you have a second set of changes that you must make before you can be truly free. This is not only possible but is virtually demanded by those of us who recognize that we are Destined to grow in spiritual power towards our Divine Creator (you can assign a name for this essence if you wish to do so). Since there are moves afoot which support the evolution of humans from the thinking but fearful Homo sapiens species, into the loving Homo spiritus species, we have spiritual leaders who have significantly changed the way that they live, think, feel and believe. It is always easier to follow than to blaze new trails. With gratitude to those who have gone before, now is the time for you to successfully change your life, going from barely surviving in Fear to fully living in Love. Living in Love is wonderful!
