Whether we are aware of it or not, we are all in pursuit of someone or something that can improve our life on earth. Even when we do attain our goals, it is nearly impossible to sustain the emotional highs of those achievements. Instead of feeling fulfilled, our lives are characterized by inner conflict and tension, a lack of purpose, and repetitive patterns of behavior that are hurtful to us and those we love.
