Fathers! Fathers! Fathers! Mia's father issues abound! Everything is going right for 18-year-old Mia. She's in a stellar robotics program in college. A convalescent home is jazzed about using her robot to help rehabilitate their patients. And finally, her step-father Allan has embraced her as his own. Mia's bio-dad died before she was born, so when Allan promises to make their relationship official by adoption, she's elated.
