Welcome to the new age where the human race is now extinct and the planet is inhabited by downworlders. "The Queen of Fire" is a story that follows a former CIA agent Missy Lynn Black when her life was spared by the death angel during the apocalypse. Trying to leave her former life behind, she now goes by the name of Cash, as she battles her way through the darkness that stands in her path of establishing some sort of order and peace in this new world. When she returns back to the New Americas, she finds herself in the arms of not one but two former flings, one whom she had known since she was a small child and the other one who was held captive with her during the first year of the new world. Which one will win her heart back? As the tension builds and the castle is attacked, Cash must help defend it and team up with a mixed group of downworlders, which exposes her abilities to her new acquaintances. That could either help or hurt her in the long run, but don't worry, since her longtime friend Angi is there to help hide her powers and lighten the mood with her snarky comments. New and past friendships are put to the test when the friends come to her aid, as her past comes back to haunt her. Everyone's life is put on the line and no one is safe. Who will go up in flames and who will be turned to ash?
