On Government And Politics

In the highly charged political climate of today, who will stop and look at government itself? is it possible to step back and consider the history of and the role of government in a more rational manner? Can the same be done with politics? By the same token, how can we be dispassionate observers of the current political climate? What is wrong with politics today. Can this be changed? Perhaps by looking at a few case studies we can at least see how political mythology controls populations. Politics won't change. Perhaps we can change ourselves.
