Jeff and John were best friends from rich homes. They shared great ambitions and expectations. While Jeff wanted to become a Civil Engineer, John wanted to be a Journalist. Preying on the death of Jeff's mother, Mmayen sought even diabolical means to enable her manipulate her husband, Suppl Daniel Isong, in order to have her way. The story is set in a typical Nigerian City, Uyo in the Niger-delta region of the country where such acts remain prevalent.
