This is a collection of short poems inspired by the teachings in the Tao Te Ching. The poems are related to the sequence of chapters in the Tao Te Ching. This Part 1 of three books is reflective of chapters 1 to 27. These poems provide a personal and modern interpretation of the overall intent of each chapter but can be read and enjoyed as individual, mindful and inspirational poems that do not require knowledge of the Tao Te Ching. Ultimately, the poems provide a challenge to the reader to determine ways of becoming a 'better me'.
