In China, the Mid-Autumn Festival is a holiday for reunions, when families get together to admire the bright, full Moon and eat moon cakes. However, Maomao's father happens to be away on a business trip. Not wanting him to be alone on this special night, Maomao asks the Moon to send a postcard to his father. That way, they can celebrate the festival under the same moonlight. To Maomao's delight, the Moon agrees, and promises to do it with a smile.
