Meditations Of My Heart

Frances Thomas McHaney was born in Brooklyn, New York, in 1952. She was raised in Toledo, Ohio, and Flint, Michigan, by her father and mother along with eight siblings. She resides in Ypsilanti, Michigan, with her husband, and they have one son. She had very humble beginnings and developed an intimate relationship with her Heavenly Father at a young age. Frances began to write as a child, playing school with her younger brother and sister on school vacations. She acted as teacher, writing little books for them to read. She was the quiet one, but a leader. She spent a lot of time alone in her room, suffering from a dysfunctional childhood and kept a journal of her feelings and experiences to help her deal with her depression. Later she began to experiment with writing poetry and today she uses her poetry to encourage her family and friends, as well as to express her creativity. Frances is also inspired by listening to Kingdom Songs and classical music. As one of Jehovah's Witnesses, she was trained to be a public speaker and she participated in the door-to-door ministry from the age of nine years old, when she was baptized. She also wrote letters to neighbors about God's promises of a bright future for mankind, conducting home Bible studies with interested ones. She reached her lifelong goal when she began her full-time ministry 60 years later! Frances' style of writing changed drastically over the years, from one of dense darkness to that of light and hope. Her writings cover a period of about 30 years. She gives credit to her God, Jehovah, for her talent and enlightenment and, therefore, dedicates this book to Him.
