They are often greatly neglected. We scold them enough, but do we obey the following command? "Fathers, provoke not your children to anger, but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord." Eph. 6: 4. Nurture means to feed, to protect, to com- fort, to encourage, as a nurse would a child. They are surrounded by great temptations, and need our constant care and loving advice and instruction. Dear Young People: I have talked and prayed for you with your parents for so many years, and helped them plan what was the wisest way to lead you to God. Year by year I have become more and more interested in you, till now I feel as if I loved you almost as much as do your parents. The words of warning and instruction contained in this little book come to you frc, m a loving heart. May God give each one of you a teachable, obedient heart, is my prayer in Jesus' name. Joanna P.
