Him And Her: A Story About Survival In The Arctic

This is a twist on the old fantasy: what would it be like to be marooned on a desert island with a stranger--preferably a beautiful young blond woman? In this case the island is more than a desert, it is also below freezing cold, so cold that the trees are only six inches tall. Faced with the prospect of survival with no food, no heat and no resources, what would you do? All they had was each other. Him and Her is a fictional story about two people who are abandoned on an Arctic island by an evil crime boss. Could two people survive all by themselves on an Arctic island with nothing but the clothes they were wearing? Probably not, but is there a chance? How could they keep from freezing? What could they eat or drink? How can they endure three months of darkness? How could they get off the island? In this story the unfortunate castaways face all those challenges. In addition, the man nearly freezes to death in the sea. Then they are almost killed by polar bears several times. They don't even know where they are, which makes it hard to tell what direction to go when and if they are finally able to leave the island. It is hoped the reader will learn many interesting facts about the Arctic while enjoying the interaction of these two fascinating people. The author's twelve-year-old granddaughter, Olivia Kinsey, illustrated this book
