Waiting In The Shadows

Joseph suffers several tragedies that drive him to live the life of an executioner. When he is thirteen, his mother--to whom he is very close--is brutally raped and murdered. The suspect, who is identified by a witness that is later murdered, gets away with the crime. This becomes the driving force that causes Joseph to learn as much as he can in as many fields as possible, in order to exact revenge as he grows up. He later finds the love of his life, only to have her taken away from him in much the same way as his mother. This all leads him down a path that, at times, consumes him to the point of insanity and makes him suspect that he may end up becoming worse than the people he eliminates...
