Marc Caldwell is a decorated veteran detective for the Briscoe, Texas, Police Department. He has seen his fair share of crime through his time of service, but when local teen Mercedes Vargas goes missing, Detective Caldwell and his partner, Shawn Peterson, are in a cat-and-mouse game with the kidnapper, who wears a scarecrow mask to hide his identity.
