Death Mate

Joey, a college student from Minnesota, finds himself thrown into a world of tragedy. His grandfather abruptly dies, leaving behind several artifacts and journals from his archaeological studies. Joey wonders if he is meant to finish the explorations that his grandfather did not, due to unfortunate events. As Joey notes the death around him, he begins to link the occurrences to his undisclosed theory about Death Mates. Ultimately, he begins to accept his theory of Death Mates as fact. Do Joey's thoughts have some weight behind their origination, or are these mental impulses of a clinical psychopath?
