My Afterwife's Quest

A spirited memoir of a dearly departed's quest to heal the hearts of the loved ones she left behind. This memoir is a compilation of stories I have revisited after the passing of my wife of 25 years in 2015. It tells a story of how I coped as I picked up the pieces as I moved on with my life. It also chronicles in detail happenstances I have rationalized to be the genesis of this new a relationship I have been involved in for the past four years. What makes this new relationship different is not only the fact that is it long distance - she in residing Fort Lauderdale and I am in the Virgin Islands - we've both concluded that despite our distance, we should have never met. By the way, it is told from my late wife's point of view; how we briefly met serendipitously online, how we navigated the relationship clandestinely from our similarly aged sons, the rebuke from my in-laws immediately after they were informed, and how perseverance, in the end, completing the circle.
