From Faith to Faith: Following Christ's Example

What a wonderful promise that Jesus Christ can take what has been broken and ruined by sin and make it new and fresh again. The sin that has set us at odds with our Heavenly Father has been remediated and forgiven because of the shed blood of Jesus Christ our Savior. What a privilege to be adopted as the children of God and be commissioned by God himself to go and tell others that same good news, the news that Jesus can save them just like he has saved us. The Son of God incarnated into human flesh, saves every single one, who in faith, calls upon his name. We are saved from the penalty of sin because Jesus Christ's sacrifice and death on the cross has paid the price that sin demands. Just as Paul tells us that he had been praying that we would be reconciled to God, we are commissioned to be praying for those around us to be reconciled to God so that they also may live at peace with God. The Holy Spirit commands and challenges us to go with the confidence that Christ has all power to change the hearts and minds of a fallen race and raise the spiritually dead back to life. Every disciple of Christ is called to go and proclaim the good news that Jesus saves the sinner from the penalty of sin and causes the spiritually dead to be made alive through the power of his indwelling Holy Spirit. Let's get busy taking the good news to our world.
