Somewhere in Time In a next life, for one never-ending day, I will be a Royal Monarch Butterfly. Joined with an escort of my kindred, I will ascend within a cone of light in the night sky - in soundless flight, a cortège to souls rising. When the heavens open to welcome home its children, at that moment, I will look in and glimpse the workings of the Divine. I will quickly turn away, this one glimpse, on this one day, enough for all eternity. As the heavens close and first light crowns the horizon, I will fly away, with my secret - alone, somewhere in time.
