This story is about a man that is awakened one night at precisely 2:26 am by the sounds of faint, distant drums coming from the basement. He goes down stairs and into the kitchen to the closed basement door. Upon opening it the drums stop instantly and nothing is there. The next night he once again is awakened by the drums. A small mental tug propels him to the basement where he finds a small bricked up archway underneath the stairs, hiding behind the paneling that lines the walls. Breaking thru the bricks he finds a room, painted entirely in white from the floor to the ceiling, with a single folding chair sitting in the middle of the room. He sits on the chair and the white room disappears and he finds himself and the chair in a clearing in a strange jungle. The sound of a large animal is heard coming from the jungle in front of him and a Saber-tooth tiger emerges from the gloom. It spies him and charges, making him scream out and fall backwards. Where he hits the floor of the room, the jungle and tiger gone. Night after night at precisely 2:26 am the drums wake him up and he finds himself sitting in the chair, in the middle of the jungle, the tiger charging. Attempts to photograph or record the jungle or the beast ends in failure. Read this story and follow this poor mans week long reign of terror and his attempt to prove this beast exists. But beware! There is a twist!
