Reconciliation Of The Conflicts Between Science And The Bible: Using Updated Scientific Records And The Biblical Revelations

Using scientific evidence and Biblical revelations, this book reconciles the conflicts between science and the Bible on the earth's age and the origin of our ancestors. Additionally, the book resolves the disputes between the Young Earth Creationists and the Old Earth Creationists, proves the Bible is the word of God, and restores respect for the integrity of the Bible. After identifying lack of updated technology as a major obstruction to reconciliation, the author introduces evidence from DNA studies, as well as an authentic corrective model, Hung's mathematic model. Based on this model, the earth's age was corrected from 4.5 billion years to 220,000 years, and the timeline of the origination of our original ancestor, archaic Homo sapiens, was corrected from 300,000 years ago to 5,000 years ago. In addition, based on the result of existing DNA research, the author concluded that (1) We have two-tier ancestors, archaic Homo sapiens as the original ancestor, Homo sapiens as the direct ancestor, and (2) the appearance of archaic Homo sapiens has no connection with Homo erectus. In other words, the DNA studies denied that archaic Homo sapiens was evolved from Homo erectus. This means that Darwin's Evolution theory is not applicable to identifying the source of our ancestors anymore. This is because Darwin's evolution theory is a statistical theory, but not a dynamic scientific theory. When the DNA dynamic theory is considered, the evolution theory should no longer be applicable. Therefore, the evolution theory should be ignored, displaced by DNA test results. On the other hand, the Bible had also revealed that the life span of our ancestors had changed drastically-from around a 900-year level to a 100-year level after Noah's flood (Genesis 11and others). With this as evidence, the book also verifies that we had two-tier ancestors, Adam as the original ancestor, and Arphaxad, who was born two years after the flood, as our direct ancestor. Considering that (1) our original ancestor, archaic Homo sapiens, as claimed by scientists, was not evolved from Homo erectus; (2) archaic Homo sapiens appeared about 5,000 years ago (after correction by Hung's model) which is nearly identical to the time of Adam's death (calculated based on the Bible to be approximately 5,100 years ago); and (3) Adam was created by our almighty God (Genesis 1:27), the book concludes that our original ancestor, archaic Homo sapiens, is equivalent to Adam. Since Adam was created by our God, therefore archaic Homo sapiens was created by our God as well. Consequently, the conflict between science and the Bible regarding the origin of our ancestors is hereby reconciled. Hallelujah! The key to reconciling the earth's-age conflict was to verify the various creations that our God performed in between God's initial creation (Genesis 1:1) and His six-day creation (Genesis 1:2). Although these creations were revealed indirectly in the Bible (Isaiah 45:18, Ezekiel 28: 12-14, Jeremiah 4: 23-26), the best way to prove these creations was to identify each creation from scientific evidence recorded in historical geology. The book traces back the creation of the earth and each of the biological species up to Homo erectus, and calculates the time interval between the creation of the earth and the extinction of Homo erectus. Since this time interval was calculated from historical geological records to be 214,000 years, and the Bible had never revealed it, the book concludes that the Bible has never revealed when our God created the earth. Therefore, the scientists' claim that the age of earth is 220,000 years did not have any conflict with the Biblical revelation at all. In other words, the conflict between science and the Bible regarding the earth's age is hereby reconciled. Hallelujah!
