Mandy Saunders is happy that her sister Carole is coming to Hawaii with her boss/lover, fashion designer Derek WIlder, to do a benefit fashion show for an abused women's shelter sponsored by Kinu Akiyama, wife of a prominent local Japanese entrepreneur. But things take a disastrous turn when Kinu and one of the models are shot and killed during the fashion show and the police think Carole did it. Derek turns to Victor Keolanui for help. Then another local PI, Bob by Johnson comes to VIc for help in solving the disappearance of her sister, Jean, wife of Hawaii's favorite TV anchorman, King Kalakaua. Jean worked for Kinu's husband. When Jean's body is found, he question arises: are the murders related? Who did it and why? Vic and Bobby have their work cut out for them as Mandy tries to show Carole and Derek some of the sights of Hawaii.
