What Ever Happened To Repentance

Soon after I was saved, I knew in my heart the importance that repentance had played in my salvation, when by God's grace the Holy Spirit convicted me of my sin and allowed me to turn from my sin and my old self and turn to Jesus and become a new creation. Sadly today repentance is left out of the gospel message, even though Jesus commanded it. Today you don't hear it preached or taught, though Jesus and his disciples preached repentance. Paul preached repentance. Jesus preached repentance, in the churches of Revelation. So whatever happened to repentance?
