MUTUALLY EXCLUSIVE: This is based on a true story that almost destroyed me. I have never completely gotten over the death of my "Mitchell." This novel is about two people, who found love and didn't get a second chance to be together, it is heartwarming and tragic at the same time. Based on a true story with names, certain situations and locations changed to protect the guilty or innocent. If they both feel if they can pursue it. I'm not talking about sexual attraction. I'm talking about a strong reaction and a real connection. They can't take their eyes off each other and sparks are flying all around them. They are thinking about this new person and wondering how to get to know them. Sometimes they can turn that connection into love. It is such a delicious feeling when it happens to you. When Mitchell was gone I turned to God and my Church to help me get through the horror of it all. I even went to Mitchell's Catholic Church for a while to try and get over his loss. This is my struggle with guilt and the loss of the love of my life. S.A. Laird is an author originally from Columbus, Ohio. She has always had a passion for writing. Her writing includes short stories, poems and songs. She is retired and pursuing her dream of being an author. She enjoys reading; playing with her rescue dog, oil painting, working crossword puzzles and playing cards. She has led a very interesting life. Her jobs include working for a television station, working for an airline with many in between. She is a Christian and has always known that God holds her in the palm of His hand. She feels that she is meant to write novels that are interesting, insightful and helpful to people who have gone through similar experiences. She has changed names, places and embellished stories or added fictionalized accounts of some of the truth of her existence.
