The story features a triple narrative view of a singular event - first, Samantha Bell's recollection. Secondly, Luke Bell's side of the story, and finally, the unbiased story narrator who both recalls and tells of the events from all sides. Samantha lies in the hospital bed as she retells her side of the dramatic event to the young, and ambitious Beaver Dam Daily Citizen reporter seated by her bedside. Her interview is about the awful event that led to the death of her beloved husband - Luke Bell. As Samantha begins narrating, the story then focuses back on the past where it all began - the flirtations and the unbreakable friendships. The promising relationship, and the doubtful marriage of the two young love birds. The story then proceeds from the time they move into their first new Beaver Dam home and is therefore narrated to the dreadful horror that takes place after that. It's a dark and hopeless dilemma of deception, greed, corruption, and the consequences of it all.Book 2: The story follows the heart-wrenching life of a middle-aged wife, and a mother of three, Lynne Everett, 45.The man she is married to abuses her. The man she once loved, now a dear friend convinces her of a scheme to kill the ungrateful bastard. She is confused, hurt, and fed up with all of it.In desperation, and consideration of her beautiful children, she accepts the plot. To her disbelief, her husband changes his ways. She falls in love yet again with the man who at last, lives up to his vows.However, what of the plot underway?
