Coming Out Christian: Overcoming Your Self-Imposed Limitations

Who are you? Who were you created to be? Is the person on the outside and the person on the inside one and the same or is there something or someone you've been holding back due to past programming; like the fear of what other people think? I may have had some of the same inhibitions in the past, truly I don't know. What I do know is that I did not see "me" coming. I saw something totally different and would've laughed myself to tears at anyone that would've predicted my future to be what it is today. Honestly I've held back far to long just like many of you have. I finally asked myself, "what are you waiting for?". When I partied I partied hard. Some of my old friends called me port-a-party because where I went the party was on. Then, I fooled around and fell in love and I've come to a point that who I've become can no longer be suppressed. I gave up everything that I'd ever known for someone I knew nothing of. Some may call it foolish, I call it faith. I was saved from a hell of my own making.I was blinded by the sinful pleasures that so many of us fall prey to. Ah the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes had me intoxicated and in the blink of an eye I was snatched from the grips of over indulgence and saved from myself. Now It's my time to "Come Out" and proclaim who I am. My hope is that you will be encouraged to Rise up and become your best self whoever your best self is...
