Cup of Trembling

They were gathered in this secret place in Palestine to address a very serious problem. Each of the representatives of the 13 most powerful families on Earth knew about the problem. They each had a solution in their mind. They each knew that their thought-of solution would be drastic and ruthless - the most ruthless thing a human being could think of against the entire human race. Each of them knew that it will again change the landscape of the world - not only Asia and Europe, but of the entire planet. Each of them had acknowledged that this problem had no other remedy than what they were contemplating on.The population of the world had reached 5.4 billion.With this much population the resources of the world is too thinly spread that not everyone was having enough. They had to cut it down to five hundred million - the ideal world population.The solution was to depopulate. Poisoning the people through medicine and grains is taking too long.There was no other way than push for another world war... the third and could be the final. After this, the world would be too weak to crawl back to what was once its peak civilization. The players were positioned. All they needed to do was to involve Israel in the Middle East Conflict. Israel refused to be drawn in, for it knew the consequence of such involvement. It would be the catalyst for the amalgamation of all Muslim Countries and the schism of The East and The West power blocks.Israel was created for this eventuality.All that was needed to ignite it was one wayward Israelite.However, the USSR had another plan, yet the scenario was the same.The collapsing economy of the Rodina required a huge war to make its weapon sellable again. The Middle East Conflict was exploited to the hilt by the Western Power when their Smart Weapons were shown in the primetime news. It made Russia's arsenal look prehistoric. USSR had decided to eliminate Saddam by sending the best assassin in their payroll - Qa'yim, who had Jewish blood in his vein. Meanwhile, in desperation to drum-up support from his fellow Muslim, Saddam released several SCUD Missiles to Tel-Aviv. He succeeded in killing the wife and the daughter of a Mossad agent. The agent went on his own to seek retribution. He would kill Saddam to make him pay for his crime.Israel would not let that happen. Another agent was sent to thwart the revenge to maintain the balance of equilibrium in the Middle East.Learning of a true-blooded Israelite was after Saddam's neck, Russia ordered Qa'yim to abort his assignment, but Qa'yim decided not to abandon the mission anyway. USSR had to order the liquidation of Qa'yim for he had now become a liability.With other characters on the stage ready to do their assigned roles, Destiny, the director shouted, "Lights! Camera! Action!"And the world, like in the days of yore, continues with its ways... People are eating and drinking, marrying and giving in to marriage, not having the slightest cognizance of the forthcoming end of the civilization.
