Attention, everyone, there is someone in this very room that has a big and special birthday today! Hannah, the camp director, smiled. "Delaney St. James, will you please come up here?" Getting up from my table and putting down my food, I smiled, blushed, and made my way up to the cafeteria stage. After everyone stopped cheering for me, Hannah began to speak again. Putting her arm around me, Hannah smiled at me and asked, "Miss Delaney, if you don't mind me asking and telling us how old you are today?""18." I replied, grinning from ear to ear."That's a big birthday!" Hannah exclaimed, as everyone clapped and cheered. After everyone became silent again, Hannah asked, "Would you mind if we all sang happy birthday to you?""Not at all." I sincerely smiled back.Moments later, everyone began to sing to me.
