SYNOPSIS"SHE WAS MINE TOO" is about Phillip, a young man from the Mpumalanga province, who travels to the Eastern Cape, for his university studies. There, he meets a girl named Shirley Scott, with whom he falls madly in love. Their romance soon comes to an end when Shirley confesses that she is pregnant for her ex-boyfriend from back home. He moves on from this and meets Juliet, who later becomes his wife and bears him a baby boy. His ex, Shirley, also gets married to her "ex-boyfriend" and they have a daughter. After a lot of years later, he finds himself compromised when his son makes known to him his intentions of taking a wife, who turns out to be Shirley's daughter. He is forced to coexist with Shirley, who does not want to hear a thing about an alliance between her daughter and her ex-boyfriend's son. Despite her efforts to try to stop them, they actually go on and get married, and even have a baby girl, Angel. After a few interactions, and one forced interaction with Shirley, due to the sickness of their granddaughter, Phillip finds himself cheating on his wife with her. This encounter results to a pregnancy for Shirley, and Phillip lets her let her husband take the responsibility. Things soon take a sour turn though, when Juliet finds proof that little John, Shirley's baby, is actually her husband's son. Families go into conflict and rifts are created.
