The Duck Chronicles

In her series, "The Duck Chronicles", Gail Tucker-Griffith writes about a Muscovy duck who lives in a seaside park in Miami. She describes the dangers Ziggy faces and how she interacts with people who walk and play there. As a scientist-educator, she is someone who understands the laws of nature but for whom the lives of living creatures she observes inspire her to celebrate their allegorical humanity. In this story Ziggy shows how she overcame loneliness and fear, and learned more about friendship, love and forgiveness, issues that face all of us, human and otherwise, young and old.
