Repentance : The Saint And Society

Every Godly Christian must admit that the past few decades have been days of the superficial. We have been drifting away from biblical authority at an alarming pace. Consequently, there has been a departure from the doctrines of salvation, and most especially, the doctrine of repentance. A sinner must first be saved through "repentance toward God and faith in our Lord Jesus Christ." Then this saint continues in a life of obedience with a repentant heart. That attitude of ongoing repentance is necessary for receiving God's grace and power for the Christian life and service. One cannot be in a position of disobedience and have the peace and joy of the Christlike life.
