Overpriced Zeitgeist

In 2018 Mike Took's spoken word show "Overpriced Zeitgeist: vaguely anti-establishment poetry for the postmodern Bohemian" debuted at the Edinburgh Fringe. This book contains all the poems featured in the show along with various musings and notes about the creative process for each piece. There are also reports on the Open Mic outings each poem received during development. In addition this book includes 6 further poems that were never performed as part of the show, and the whole thing is accompanied by the superb artwork of Sarah Methuen.
