Swollen Tongue

A collection of writings from my early years of college inspired by the hardships of romance. Long nights producing wonders of imaginations highlight the heartache and denial as writing became an outlet in times of mental decompensation. All have fallen victim to the rollercoaster of emotions love has given us throughout the years, some harder than others, but the healing process is still the same while the coping mechanisms differ. This collection is to show that the devotedly heartbroken are not alone and can find relatable words, phrases or poems in this text and will let their stories be heard, whether it be to a crowd or their journal. It's better to release than reseal our emotions once we've let them out. This is the first book in the Series T.H.E that illustrate the progression of building one's self back up again through writing and experiences.
