Legend says: An archangel was so afraid of losing his beloved that he forged a rind with plans to convince the last living dragon to breath upon it, thus creating a talisman with powers so strong that she would remain safe as long as she was wearing the ring. The archangel found his way to the last living dragon and traded his life for the protecting breath. The Dragon turned the archangel away claiming that he has not proven that he is worthy of his breath. The archangel returned several times before he fell to his knees begging and pleading with the dragon, saying he needed the ring to keep his beloved alive. Finally, the Dragon agreed but not without a price, it's said that the archangel was to carry the curse of the dragon with him.
