The problem is that individuals take from general education only the information that accords with their personal perspectives on life including their preconceived notions and prejudices. If indeed we are to live up to the epithet 'homo sapiens' we have to forget many false notions we have learned leaving only a few that can be regarded as valid and true. In creating the Young Philosophers group at Velangaye Comtech, Dr. Ngogi Mahaye was attempting to lead the young students to a consideration of their personal truths.
