FLYING 1 Illustrated poetry books, taking the reader on an uplifting, spiritual flight. Each book is an empowering, new thought, visionary, graphic poem, along the path of self growth. "The Flying series" is the poetry of the future, making it accessible and appealing to a wide audience of all spectrums. "Flying 1": Alexandra's long poem and graphics take us on a journey through her "inner world" which also interacts with the "outside world" in a very subjective way. We all see the world with our own unique soul, perspective and fluctuating vibrations. Dreaming is very important and when we manage to enter our magical world everything appears to us with a touch of our own insight. "And sometimes the magic comes from outside, And sometimes from within......" "The Flying Series" Each book is a harmonious composition of one long poem and graphic illustrations, that convey "The Flying". The visual poetess uses a pioneering approach to share her visions, combining verse and visuals to create a different way of experiencing poetry. The visual poems, with colourful and unique graphic designs, take the reader on a superb inner flight. Alexandra is a modern spiritualist, whose poetic style and innovative computer art, empower uplift and inspire along the path of spiritual & personal growth. Each book offers a unique " inner flying" along this path. "Alexandra is a visual poetic artist and personality on the leading edge of a young, new, global sensibility. " Flo Conway, chief editor, Stillpoint Press. "Alexandra is a relatively unique and special visual poet of considerable distinction." David Caddy, Tears in the fence. Biography: Alexandra Psaropoulou is a visual poet who has been composing poems with canvas paintings ever since a young girl. Later on, becoming a graphic artist and collaborating with publishing companies in New York and Greece, she started creating her own style of poetry and computer designs which express her visions powerfully and enhance the experience of the reader, while delivering her message. After losing her artwork in a house fire which destroyed everything except her poems with graphics saved online, she decided to focus solely on her graphic designs and poetry books, which she has been working on for many years. She has been creating "The Flying" series since 2014. Alexandra was born in the year of the horse of fire, in Greece, where she spent many years living in the wild mountains of the island of Hydra. Later, she attended St. Mary's in Wiltshire and studied European Thought & Literature at Anglia Ruskin in Cambridge. She lived in Paris and New York, before returning to Greece to settle. Her father was a renowned poet and author and had a successful publishing company in Greece. Her mother was a ballet dancer as well as president of the Dance Union in Greece. Her family social circles, ever since a little girl, were rich with artists, writers, and academics. She lives with her husband, a classical guitar soloist and four children near the Temple of Poseidon, Sounio, by the sea and publishes her own visual poems on Amazon. alexandrabooks.info alexpsaropoulou@gmail.com Thank you for leaving your feedback on Amazon.
