Edward Bachman is finally released from prison after five years. As an Ex-Con he struggles to find a place in society, however his life takes a dramatic turn for the better just months later after he makes a lucky financial gamble. But his life and freedom are threatened at every turn by the US government and an over-zealous former US Attorney- now the President of the United States- and a misguided Constitutional amendment. With the help of his friends and loving wife (plus some mischievous teenagers), Edward Bachman manages to survive the several crises in his life and come out on top, all while he guides the Cumorah Foundation in its mission to spark Humanities overdue Diaspora into the galaxy.
