The Pearl Of Life

Have you ever wondered how come life seems to have a tune of its own, if you have had so many questions about life and have never really figured out the answers there are but a few answers that are in this book that i hope bring clarity and put your spirit to rest. I have come to call each answer ''the pearl of life''. I know of a very famous man that said,Do not give what is holy to the dogs; nor cast your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you in pieces.'' Mathew: 7;6While we are at it we might as well cultivate ourselves and do self-checks on our characters, so this is also a Self Help book to help build your character. Proverb: 14;18Dear beautiful naive and gullible young selfI write this letter with both gratitude and regret at the same time. I want to thank you for being the dreamer that you are, you always believed in me, you always had hope for a better tomorrow despite the disappointments you have had to endure. Mum and dad have you under a very tight leash, not that I blame them they are doing the best they can and for that I am grateful. I know you do not understand their ways at times but decades later it all make sense.As young as you are, you have a fighting spirit. A fire that burns within you that one day, just one day you will have that life you see so vividly in your head. You see good in everyone else and believe everything you are promised. Gullible and naive is what you are, with these two personality traits you are heading to a place where you will face many disappointments in life. If I could tell you one thing it would be this, for you to trust that voice that keeps telling you are more than what meets the eye.Not knowing or understanding that happiness should come from within you, you are looking for it in all the wrong places. In the hands of a man. What you do not understand is that they are also looking for the same thing. See, my lovely beautiful young self, what you need to learn is that people cannot give you what they do not have and same goes for you. You cannot give what you do not have my sweet girl and this only comes by you being able to understand that in order to get what you want you must be able to give back so you can receive. Your true happiness is not another person's responsibility, it is yours.I want to thank you for carrying those principles and morals that mum and dad instilled in you and doing the best you can with them. Despite the best that mum and dad did for you, you made bad choices that not only impacted your life but other people's lives too and for this I am truly sorry. One other thing I would love to say to you is this, if I knew then what I know now.You have been burnt so many times to count. If I could go back and sit down with you my advice would be for you to take your time. For you not to rush into things, that life is not a competition, for you to think before you act. And last but not least, for you to believe in God and to include Him in all your ways.With regret in my heart, i am sorry you have gone through so much. But not to fret because Jesus ends up being the one person who will never ever disappoint you. Look at it this way, it took a while but He never gave up on you. Despite all your efforts to make it in this cold world on your own His arms have been openly waiting for you.
