This book presents the powerful anecdotes of eureka moments, critical observations and international experiences which allowed my transition from the tightly controlled clutches of religious indoctrination to the exhilarating freedom of agnosticism. The chronologically arranged autobiographical journey from religious dogma to reason and self-enlightenment involved revealing cross cultural exchanges and misunderstandings in many parts of the world, such as Australia, China, Haiti, India, Kenya and Morocco. A central thread interwoven throughout the fabric of the text is the fact that science does not aim to discredit religious doctrines; many religions do it all by themselves anyway by proclaiming such fabricated farfetched farcical falsehoods as "religious truths" (an oxymoron). Some religions are singled out for their more realistic approaches and less aggressive attitude toward others. The readers are challenged at the end of the book to express how they would have reacted had they undergone the same enlightened international and domestic experiences. The recognition of not having to enter the fray of needing to either prove or disprove the existence of god leads one to the serenity and neutrality which then leads to contentment and happiness of an enlightened world view.
