You Left Me No Choice

Still pursued by the Thymord Order, Lorrek needs to understand their origins and how they function in order to properly confront them. To do this, he must view events that occurred a thousand years ago at a time when the immortal kelliph race had humanity on the brink of extinction. With the Western Kingdoms destroyed, the Eastern Lands have become the focus of Rykeldan, king of the kelliphs. He requests one thing from them: that they relinquish Therina, his soulbound, to him. If they fail to do so, they will face the same destruction as the West. The only thing is, no one knows where Therina is. Having no other choice but to fight the immortal creatures, the humans ask an order of knights, the Thymords, to find a way to permanently kill a kelliph. To accomplish this, the Thymords turn to the only other near-immortal race of their lands, the shapeshifting dragons, for help. Together, they try to find a way to stop the advancement of the kelliphs before it's too late. None of them realize Therina is hidden in the Western Kingdoms, seeking to accomplish the very same thing. She wishes to kill the one she has been promised to for all eternity since he betrayed her.
