Power Mind : The Secret To Success In Life

Power Mind gives the secrets of success as used by author, journalist and musician Darrel Cake. The principles and exercises outlined in the book are drawn from a lifetime of study of world religions and philosophies, in particular the Zoroastrians of Ancient Persia, Egyptian magic, Hindu and Greek mythology. The author has also spent 25 years working through issues through Psychiatry and Psychology, to gain greater self awareness.In this book Power Mind, he has distilled complex systems of thought into simple steps which can be undertaken by everyone to improve their life. In his twenties, he applied similar principles which saw him successful in music. At the age of 28, he started a mining magazine business in Perth, Western Australia, on the kitchen of a rented house. Ten years later, when he sold out for $1 million cash, the magazine employed a full time staff of about 15, and about the same number of correspondents around the world. It became one of the largest mining magazines in the world. He retired at the age of 40, and spent many years travelling with his wife Ruby, to many countries, to undertake self education. During this time, he wrote a book called Ferals, which described the fall from grace of a young man, from the world of high finance. The central character Carl, and his girlfriend Sabrina, decided to drop out and went and lived with a group of alternative lifestylers, in the outback regions of Western Australia. During this time, Carl was introduced to an alternative philosophy, based on ancient European ceremonies and rituals, and reached enlightenment. The book was well received in Australia and Europe, where it has been translated into six different languages. An updated version of this will be released shortly. Throughout his life, he has always followed the spiritual laws which govern the human race and the earth. He directly credits his success in life to the application of simple spiritual laws to earthly life. In the years between 2001 and 2006, he was involved in a mammoth legal battle against Australia's biggest brewery which wanted to build a large alcohol outlet in Fremantle. He represented a group of residents, opposed to the development. At this stage, he had little legal knowledge. He came up against the biggest and best legal brains in the state, and won the case, against the brewery's top legal minds. Then, upon appeal, to the WA Supreme Court of Appeal, the resident's stance was vindicated, when the court of appeal dismissed the appeal, thus supporting the residents. He credits all of his lifetime success to the principles of what he has called, Power Mind. He maintains that by the correct use of Power Mind, seemingly magical events can occur. Daryl Cake is now writing books, to share his knowledge and experience with everyone. Apart from his religious, philosophical and music pursuits, he has a wide range of interests ranging from many sports, to other intellectual pursuits.
