Everyone remembers their high school experience(whether it was pleasant or not) However, this is the story of Noel. An average high school senior who's head kills almost everyday over the stress of being mistreated, ignored and roasted at school. This comedic insight from his friends perspective give them a chance to open his mind up to see his life in a new light. Yet it's still difficult with bullies, bitterness and an understandable negative aura expressed to him through the halls. This also includes the nasty underbelly of the city while trying to attend a senior end of the year party. He and his friends face the dangers of corrupt police and criminal behavior in one night. His friends Freddy, Ineze, Simon and Reese. Freddy is self-absorbed, well known guy around school with many friends to count. Ineze is a know-it-all, bossy, judgmental girl with an attitude but the most understandable to Noel's plight in life. Simon is the seemingly most reserved in the group, doesn't like to emote himself much. Reese is a loud mouth, upbeat, vulgar guy who starts trouble himself. Each of his friends have more experience than him with growing into themselves. This story is mostly told through the perspective of Noel himself. This story takes the reader back to their time back then, regardless if you're experience was good or bad. The dialogue from the characters resembles the status experience that was forced on everyone. There are those types we had forgotten back then and the insight of how students can treat each other. It shows the truth of not just other students you'll graduate with but even the flaws that are sometimes revealed to us through our so called friends. It tells how people may want to believe they're something positive based on how the general public sees them but never second guess how they mistreat the one percent.
