Three Charming Danish Inns

On September 19, 1740, Christian VI gave Gl. Humlebæk Kro's grant under royal hand and seal. At that time the inn was located down at the fishing village, but later, as part of the construction of a larger hotel, was moved to "Adelsvejen," which Strandvejen was called at that time. Thus began centuries of haute cuisine in Denmark!
