In the late Sumer of 1950, Dante Styles, a New York Cop turned actor, who leaves the NYPD and movies to California to become a Hollywood Movie Star, meets and falls instantly in love with a young lady by the name of Emerald Besuvio. Emerald's son is kidnapped and she seeks Dante's services to help her locate him. In the process, Emerald's Grandfather, kills her lover, Mickey Eubanks, the owner of the SilverSpoon, a night club located in East Hollywood.
