Book Description: This book explores topics that answer life's bigger questions. Who would you be if the world never taught you who you were? Who are you in the stillness of your being? Why are you here? Is gender a performativity? What does this human experience we call life mean? Why do we have power, privilege, and assimilation? Why is there so much injustice in the world? Why have women been suppressed for so many years? What does it mean to be indigenous? What does it mean to have a VOICE in the world? Why I wrote this book: I wrote this book because I believe in humanity. I believe in change. I believe in the purpose you have in your life and the gifts that you can offer the world. I believe that our stories are meant to be shared and in doing so transforms us into a higher light. I believe that there is a light within each and every one of you that is waiting to be ignited. Just like the stars that live amongst the clouds we too are that light waiting to shine brighter than ever before. Now more than ever the universe is calling you and me both to live in our spirit. Humanity is changing and our lives are calling us to be made new. The time is now when you find your voice in the world. Where you find out who you really are by peeling back the layers of who you have been taught to be. No more hiding, no more feeling afraid. This is all that I am and all that I have become. I trusted that force greater than myself and somehow it has led to this moment so as you read these pages I hope that this inspires you to find your voice in a world where at times it seems like your voice is non-existent. Now is the time when the universe is calling you and me both to shine brighter than ever before. About Me: I have always felt connected to something greater than myself. I spent most of my life healing from open wounds as I was imprisoned in my past and rooted in pain for many years. Then one day I started to write and it was the first time I learned that words could heal wounds. I titled my writing "Struggling to be the Voice" and my writings became the part of me where I could be myself and never had to face the world. You see I was just like you crying out for help for someone to hear me. I listened to life when it taught me and I learned. I believe that just like me you too are on your own path of self-discovery trying to find your voice in the midst of the darkness. My hope is that you see yourself reflected in the themes throughout this book.
