Bodies after death are sometimes preserved naturally when they are sheltered from Oxygen, Moisture and Microorganisms.There has been numerous instances of natural preservation in countries such as Denmark, Egypt, Iran and, Mexico.Sub zero temperatures too bring about preservation in the Himalayan, Tibet regions.Manual and chemical preservation can also be brought about.In Japan and Russia there have been instances where there are instances of self mummification in religous sects in Japan by adhering to a strict specific diet of roots of trees.Death brings in its wake changes in the body, the first one being Rigor Mortis or the stiffening of the muscles and the other, putrefaction or decay brought about by microorganisms.The mystery that has confounded scientists over the years is that the bodies of some Holy People do not get decayed or corrupt but remain fresh, the muscles being supple, sometimes for hundreds of years.In this book we are studying the lives of these people which my study has revealed as being 128 in number dispersed all over the World.How are they special?Did they show any special traits while they were on earth.If there is no scientific explanation for these phonomena we have to look towards the possibility that it is a supernatural occurrence.In our study of the life stories of these persons let us examine whether they were gifted with some supernatural charisms while on earth and also ascertain contribution they have made to the propagation of the Catholic faith, and in what way their lives were exalted and blessed with these graces.If they were rewarded on earth they have been singled out as exemplary individuals as their mortal bodies have thawared the natural process of detiorioration.Readeres of this book will also observe that when the bodies of some of these persons are exhumed a heavenly fragrance had emanated and in some a clear fragrant oil.When the graves of some of them are left abandoned there has been instances when signs are given such as illumination of a grave which triggers people in charge to exhume such bodies and discover that the bodies are incorrupt.The Catholic Church does not recognise the incorruptibility of the body of a person as a qualification for sainthood and in fact there are a large number of Holy Persons whose bodies were found incorrupt who are not saints and some have not even been beatified.This book also takes through a journey to the dark shrouded past of the Catholic Church when in different eras tumutous events have taken place.There had been a number of heresies, Popes have relocated, Inquisitions have been held in a number of countries and judgements given which would seem unfair in the world of today.There had been serious divisions within the Church resulting in the growth of Protestinism and there has also been the reformation brought about by some Popes.The Holy persons whose life stories we will read have risen to the fore and stood steadfast to the faith and contributed in no small measure to the sustanance and growth ofChristian Education in the World, the rehabilitation of youth and the caring of the poor and the sick.Almighty God through the sacrfice made by Jesus Christ has ensured that we are not alone in our jounrney to salvation asthere are signs at different times and given in diverse way which has and which will guide us to our dest
